An Ohio Education and Workforce bulletin dated Oct. 22, 2026, announced a final correction period for career-technical education program-of-concentration data. Superintendents in traditional districts, community schools, STEM schools and joint vocational school districts that must report CTE follow-up data in EMIS may examine the students listed in the 2027 Exiting Student Follow Up Level 2 Report. Districts accountable for a student's CTE exiting follow-up can submit a final correction, the bulletin says.

The review period runs from Oct. 22 through Nov. 9. According to the bulletin, this is the sole chance to revise CTE Program of Concentration information for the 2027 CTE Follow-up List. No concentration changes will be accepted after the Nov. 9 deadline based on district correction requests. Placement and credential data can be addressed in a later follow-up correction opportunity after the initial Follow-Up window closes.

Requests submitted in OHID must include corrected student-level data in the FY27 CTE Program of Concentration Data Appeal Template under Upload Data. The bulletin advises complete, accurate spreadsheets. Superintendents, EMIS coordinators and superintendent designees can complete the form, but the Department considers it officially submitted only after superintendent approval.

Questions about the process go to the Office of Data Quality. CTE data or calculation questions go to Kelsey Stephens and Greg Woods; questions about data in the CTE Follow-Up List go to the local ITC or the EMIS helpdesk.
