Ohio school superintendents are required to review their districts' 2026 graduation data as reported in EMIS, with the submission period running from Oct. 26 through Nov. 6, 2026, according to a Department of Education and Workforce bulletin.

The bulletin states that superintendents must complete the 2026 Graduation Data Review form and indicate, when submitting it, whether the reported data are accurate. The form is available through OHID.

Per the department, these review and verification forms are part of EMIS reporting governed by Ohio Revised Code 3301.0714, and superintendents carry a legal obligation to review and certify data quality under Ohio Administrative Code 3301-14-01 (G). The bulletin also advises that failing to finish the process may lead to progressive sanctions described in Ohio Administrative Code 3301-17.

For details on the timing and completion steps, the bulletin points districts to the EMIS Data Review & Verification webpage, and directs questions about data reviews to the department's Office of Data Quality.
