Two Pickaway County organizations are recruiting a part-time staff member to handle finances and administration.

The Pickaway County Port Authority and Pickaway Progress Partnership list bookkeeping among the core tasks: keeping financial records current, watching cash flow and helping prepare statements, budgets, grant reports and contract reporting. The role also involves assembling records for audits, supporting internal controls and compliance, and managing paper and electronic files, including retention, archiving and official agency documents.

On the administrative side, the hire would organize board and committee meetings, covering scheduling, notices, agendas, packets and materials, take minutes, maintain official records and resolutions, and track follow-up items. Support for the Executive Director and Assistant Director, plus special projects and other assigned work, is part of the job.

Preferred credentials are an associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, public administration or a related field, along with 3–5+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, business administration, office management, operations or similar work. Experience with an Ohio nonprofit, government agency or public-private organization is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint, is expected, as are communication skills for working with business leaders, elected officials, government representatives and community partners. Travel across Pickaway County and occasionally regionally or statewide may be required.

Applicants should send a resume, cover letter and completed application to Assistant Director Tiffany Anderson at tanderson@pickawayprogress.com, or deliver them to the P3 office at 1360 Lancaster Pike, Suite 111, Circleville. The full description and application are posted under the Employment tab at pickawayprogress.com.
