Unofficial Pickaway County returns reported Tuesday night showed Republican candidates leading in statewide, federal and judicial contests, while voters split on local tax levies and school measures, according to the Scioto Post's summary of county tabulations.

The outlet reported 39 of 46 precincts partially counted, with 19,694 ballots cast and turnout near 51%. It said the figures were incomplete and would remain unofficial until certified by the county board of elections after provisional and late-arriving mail ballots are processed.

In the governor's race, Vivek Ramaswamy and Robert A. McColley held 60.78% (11,846 votes) locally to 34.92% (6,807) for Amy Acton and David Pepper, with Don Kissick and James L. Mills at 3.98% (775). Jon Husted led Sherrod Brown in the Senate contest 61.96% (12,096) to 32.45% (6,335). Mike Carey led the 15th District House race with 64.68% (12,526) to Don Leonard's 31.96% (6,190).

Republicans also led the reported races for attorney general, auditor, secretary of state, treasurer, both listed Ohio Supreme Court seats, a state Senate and a state House district, and the 4th District Court of Appeals. State Issue 3 drew 77.59% yes (15,051) to 22.41% no (4,347).

The park district renewal-and-increase trailed 53.52% to 46.48%. An Ashville referendum failed with 81.65% voting no. Township levies passed in Monroe, Walnut and Williamsport and failed in Deercreek, while ambulance and fire levies passed in the Sterling and Tri-County districts.
