The Tri-Valley Conference released its postseason golf awards on Monday, a slate that includes all-conference selections along with player and coach honors.

Trimble's Braylee Richards was named player of the year following what the conference recognized as a strong junior season. She was the top Athens County honoree on the list.

Two area coaches drew recognition as well. Trimble's Zach Walton was named TVC-Hocking boys coach of the year, and Athens' Tim Galway received the TVC-Ohio coaching award after leading the Bulldogs to a conference championship.

The conference's released list also includes Wellston's Michael Evans as a coach of the year, Meigs' Jack Glaze as a player of the year and Waterford's Brock Hurley as a player of the year. Those three entries were not accompanied by division labels in the announcement.

Awards followed the conclusion of the season, with honorees recognized for their play and coaching across the conference's membership.
