Wilmington News Journal has opened its annual Clinton County photo contest and is collecting images for the 2027 Clinton County Community Calendar, the newspaper reports. According to the announcement, chosen photographs will appear in the calendar, which is published every December and delivered to area households.
The paper says it wants pictures showing Clinton County’s landscape and landmarks. Examples cited include historic buildings, sunrise views, snow scenes and warm-weather activities at Cowan Lake or Caesars Creek. Organizers also said other local scenes are acceptable.
Entries are open to residents and visitors, but every photo must have been taken inside Clinton County, according to the announcement. News Journal staff will review submissions and choose the images for the 2027 edition.
The submission deadline is Nov. 12. The News Journal says entries should be sent by email to the address given in the contest announcement. The source text did not include entry fees, prize details or a limit on how many photographs one person may submit.
